Angry Birds, the most downloaded game for mobiles and tablets, has a musical spin-off. It is the Helmet Pig-Angry Birds speaker.  Open the box and you will find a delightful cartoon pig's head clad in a helmet inside.

That, in effect, comprises the music maker. A compact remote accompanies the pig-shaped speaker, which is nicely done up in gray and green. A green light appears on the porky's nose when the speaker is switched on.

Coming from Gear4, this speaker is a part of the exclusive Angry Birds range. This speaker has an iPhone/iPod dock atop the pig's helmet. But for those who don't have an Apple device, there is an auxiliary-in port that can be used to connect to any tablet or smartphone using.

The speaker comes with a 3.5mm auxiliary cable for the purpose. We put the quirky speakers on and were gratified to find that it was not just oinks that emanated from the 2.1 stereo machine, but good, loud and clear sound.
